Dear IUCAB Members,
Following my previous message about the 2012 IUCAB Delegates' Meeting which will take place at Château de Méry sur Oise on May 17th-19th 2012, we thank you to let us know if you will be attending the Meeting as soon as possible.
We also like to add that the price per night at the Hotel is no longer the same but has been negociated to 180euros per night, breakfast included.

IUCAB SWG Meeting, Fr. 27 January 2012, London
Dear Friends,
I hope that all is well with you.
The 7th meeting of the IUCAB Secretarial Working Group has been scheduled for Friday 27 January 2012 in London.
The SWG of IUCAB was set up to discuss matters of mutual interest in the administration of the IUCAB Member Associations and you are all kindly asked to actively contribute to the agenda.
We know that not every Association’s Secretary will be able to participate at the meeting of this group. However, the information exchanged at these meetings will be presented to the Executive Committee of IUCAB and to the Participants at next year’s IUCAB Annual Delegates Meeting in Mery-sur-Oise.
Mr. Olivier Mazoyer, IUCAB Vice President, will chair the meeting.
As you know, the meeting will be hosted by the MAA and take place at the offices of the law firm ReedSmith. Edward Miller, Member of the Legal Working Group and Partner of ReedSmith has kindly made meeting room facilities available for the SWG-meeting.

Mr. Paul Wakeling, Secretary General of the MAA and past Chairman of the SWG, has confirmed that he will be delighted to provide assistance with arranging hotel accommodation if so required and for organising a dinner on Thursday evening if Participants would already arrive on Thursday. With a view thereto, it would be much appreciated if you could let me know by return e-mail but in any case by 30 November 2011 at the latest:
· if you will participate at the meeting or not;
· when you will arrive in London and if you require any assistance from Paul Wakeling regarding hotel arrangements;
· if you have any items you would like to discuss in addition to the attached agenda of the meeting.

This Budweiser commercial about 9/11 was aired only once so as not to benefit financially from it - they just wanted to acknowledge the tragic event.
For those not aware of it, the Clydesdale are part of the Budweiser image and used in many of their promotions. They are kept on magnificent grounds at their Florida Bush garden.

Education for Commercial Agents
Dear Members of IUCAB,
On the occasion of the recent IUCAB events in Marrakech, special attention was paid to the commercial agents’ need for excellent and ongoing education.
With regard thereto, please find attached:
1. an informative letter from Dr. Andreas Paffhausen regarding a Business Administration Programme for commercial agents developed in close cooperation with Prof. A. Kaapke of the State University of Stuttgart;
2. a more detailed summary in PDF-format regarding the concept of the relevant seminars of the Programme.
For those IUCAB Member Associations which would be interested to obtain more information regarding the above Programme with a view to possible participation by their Members, please contact Dr. Andreas Paffhausen directly at his e-mail address (andreas.paffhausen@t-online.de).
It goes without saying that IUCAB will be delighted to share with its Member Associations all information regarding educational programs developed on a national level which are also open for participation by Members of other IUCAB Member Associations. Therefore, please do not hesitate to inform the IUCAB Secretariat about such educational projects which we will gladly distribute to all IUCAB Member Associations.
